EJOT Sliding point screw VARIO

Reliable forming of sliding and fixed points on substructures of rear ventilated facades The EJOT sliding point screw VARIO is a universal fastening element made of A4 stainless steel for fixed and sliding points in rear-ventilated facades according to DIN 18516-1. It is now also available as an all-stainless steel version. The operating principle With a buffer zone between the screw head and a flat sliding washer, the VARIO guarantees consistently low contact pressure between the two components.

Kuehne + Nagel, EJOT and Kreisbahn send pilot transport from the South Westphalia container terminal on its way

For Kuehne+Nagel, the transport was a test run to find an answer to the question of whether it makes sense to transport EJOT products by train from Kreuztal to Graz. EJOT sends around 1,200 pallets with around 340 tons of goods from Wittgenstein to its subsidiary in Austria every year. As of now, this is done by truck. Solar and photovoltaic systems on the roof

Mounting systems are used to install photovoltaic and solar thermal systems on roof surfaces, which in turn consist of a variety of metal components. The EJOT portfolio includes a selection of reduced swarf self-drilling screws from the EJOFAST® family for fastening mounting rails, trapezoidal sheet metal clamp/bridges and wind deflectors as well as the EJOT solar fastener for fastening solar systems on trapezoidal steel profiles, sandwich panel and corrugated fibre cement roofs.

Above-rafter insulation – determining the right screw

In the market, counter slats with dimensions b=60 mm×h=40 mm are processed. Screw-fastened shear safety screws at an inclination of 65° and suction safety screws at 90° to the roof surface.

EJOT flat roof profile FP

With the new metal rail fastening system for mechanical fi xing of roofing membranes, almost all application cases are covered. The flexurally rigid metal section with alu-zinc coating features three different hole diameters. This results in many different fastening possibilities with self-drilling roof screws, classic self-drilling screws, frame anchors and in part also in combination with a special plastic tube washer to reduce thermal bridges. The EJOT metal profile fastening system is the only flat roof rail offering an approved solution for all applications on flat roofs according to ETA-07/0013 and for wall connections according to ETA-10/0305.

A multi-shell exterior wall construction is referred to as a rear-ventilated facade. The non-load-bearing facade cladding is attached to the load-bearing wall level at a distance. EJOT® JC2 concrete screws – Additional embedment depths and approved reusage

An additional, reduced embedment depth of 35 mm is now possible for multiple fastening of non-load-bearing systems in concrete (ETA 18/0221) using the JC2 concrete screws with a diameter of 6 mm and hexagon head (KB), truss head (FR) or countersunk head (ST). As well as the two installation depths of 35 or 40 mm for multiple fastening, a third installation depth of 55 mm can now be used for single fastening.
