EJOT® at ARCHITECT@WORK in Berlin

CROSSFIX® substructure system for rear-ventilated facades arouses great interest among the trade visitors

09/10/2020, Construction Division

At this year's ARCHITECT@WORK in Berlin on 7 and 8 October 2020, a wide range of expert visitors gathered information about the innovations in the construction industry from numerous exhibitors.
EJOT presented the new substructure system CROSSFIX® which combines maximum flexibility and energy efficiency. This opens up completely new design options for rear-ventilated facades.

Sustainability of the console convinces visitors
It was in particular the aspect of low thermal conductivity which was met with great interest, since it enables a reduction of the cold transmittance values while maintaining the fire protection. This shows that the new substructure has taken up important current requirements with regard to thermal insulation. The passive house-certified stainless steel console of the CROSSFIX® system is furthermore suitable for vertical and horizontal support profile mounting and can be used for the formation of sliding and fixed points. It is thus all-purpose and was able to completely convince the trade visitors.

Successful expert event in unusual times
"ARCHITECT@WORK pursues a coherent concept and offered us an excellent platform to present the versatility of CROSSFIX®," says Mark Dreyer, sales engineer at EJOT. He further emphasizes that due to the extensive hygiene measures at the event, the safety of the visitors was guaranteed at all times and he praises the smooth course of the event.
