Sandwich fastening directly into concrete
Concrete screw JC6-D for direct fastening of sandwich panels
Until now, factory-fitted insertion rails were used to fasten sandwich elements to concrete substructures. These were embedded during the manufacture of the precast concrete substructures to enable subsequent fastening of the facade elements using self-drilling screws. This process was not only planning-intensive, but also left no room for flexibility for subsequent adjustments. Changes to the installation location or grid were not possible after the rails had been installed.
With the ETA-certified JC6-D concrete screw, EJOT now offers a technically advanced solution that allows sandwich elements to be fastened directly to precast concrete substructures – without insertion rails. This new installation option conserves resources, reduces planning and logistics costs, and allows for flexible installation directly on site.

The JC6-D concrete screw is made of corrosion-resistant A4 stainless steel and has a hardened forming zone. It is suitable for both cracked and uncracked concrete in roof and wall areas. The special high thread geometry and pre-mounted stainless steel sealing washer provide optimum protection against moisture and weather influences.
The unnecessariness of the insertion rails means that hundreds of metres no longer need to be produced, transported or assembled – this conserves resources and significantly reduces the production time for precast concrete substructures. In addition, the JC6-D can be completely dismantled, enabling separation by type and recycling during dismantling.
The introduction of the JC6-D concrete screw completes EJOT's range for the direct fastening of sandwich elements.
With this product extension, EJOT now offers technically coordinated solutions for all common substrates in industrial lightweight construction.
