VOLTtec® Insulated Fasteners
High‑voltage connections – EJOT fasteners for battery modules, busbars, and power electronics:
Electric vehicles and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) rely on high‑voltage (HV) electrical systems, typically operating at 400 to 800 volts and increasingly beyond. While these systems enable high performance and fast charging, they also impose extremely high demands on electrical safety.
VOLTtec® Screws combine the proven process technologies from the production of reliable cold formed fasteners with fully automated and 100% electrically tested injection molding processes. Thereby we support our customers in the optimal design of the connection regarding fastening but also the insulation function.
VOLTtec® Standard
VOLTtec® Standard fastening element for insulated high-voltage connections in electrified vehicles and stationary battery energy storage systems. The insulated screws ensure secure contact, even under the influence of vibration and temperature.

VOLTtec® PCB Spacer
The VOLTtec® PCB Spacer is available in two different heights.
In electrical and electronic components, printed circuit boards must be stacked due to space constraints. The VOLTtec® PCB Spacer ensures simple and uncomplicated assembly as well as sufficient distance between the components, to prevent destructive sparking or arcing. For this purpose, insulation material is used that meet the required dielectric strength.
Advantages
- Available from stock – Short time to market
- No additional investment in tooling and automation
- 100 % dielectric strength test with 4 kV
- Self-tapping direct fastening in Aluminum and Plastic
Technical specifications
- Thread ALtracs® Plus 30 / Drive SW7
- Distance 10mm and 15mm
- Screw boss for self-tapping screw EVO PT® 30
