EJOT® product innovation wins German Innovation Award 2026
Fastening demanding facade cladding flawlessly with the LT-TD System
EJOT once again impressed the jury with its submission for the German Innovation Award. In the category “Excellence in Business to Business – Building & Elements”, the LT-TD System for fastening facade cladding in rainscreen facades (RVF) received an award. The German Innovation Award has been awarded annually by the German Design Council since 1953 and honours design, brand and innovation achievements of international significance.
The LT-TD System allows the fastening of facade cladding without any constraints, thereby creating a visually flawless facade surface free of breaks or warping. At the same time, the product’s special design creates a 3-mm air gap between the cladding and the substructure. Panels that have become damp due to weather conditions will dry evenly, preventing light-colored marks from forming on the surface. The facade panel is thus thermally decoupled from the substructure. A special stop collar on the screw shaft controls the exact setting and at the same time ensures an absolutely vertical alignment of the screw. This ensures optimal screw installation, which offers significant advantages, particularly at the sliding point. Cracks and chipping on the garment, especially in the corner and edge area, can thus be avoided, particularly in delicate garments.
