ejotherm STR U – now also in XXXL

Thicker insulation materials are becoming more and more popular - especially for the use in low-energy houses. The renovation and optimisation of existing External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems will become even more important in the future, as the first generation of ETICS facades do not meet today's requirements, but they can be modernised through the introduction of an additional layer of insulation. For the secure installation of the insulation board exceptionally long anchors which can permanently withstand stress of contaminated surfaces, hygro-thermal influences and strong wind suction are required.

In order to install the anchor plates with the EJOT STR principle in these substructures without additional effort and dirt, EJOT have again increased the range of lengths of the ejotherm STR U cap anchor. From April onwards the ejotherm STR U for concrete and masonry will be available in lenghts up to 455 mm. Due to the minimal embedment depth of 25 mm, insulation thicknesses of up to 400 mm can be securely installed.
