Secure fastening solutions

 

Today‘s demands on fastening technology are as numerous as the available fastening elements. Direct assembly is the most favourable cost saving solution because no additional assembly elements are required. However, this method is sometimes limited. For example with thin-walled components, components that don‘t allow injection moulded bosses, multi layered assemblies and thin sheet metals call for other solutions.


Finding the right solution from a variety of possibilities is often time consuming for the design engineer. EJOT provides custom-tailored solutions. Years of experience with direct assemblies into polymer materials led to the development of a number of fastening elements, the so called EJOT "boss" family.


The idea is "easy". With EJOT plastic bosses, different materials can be fastened to various wall thicknesses. The advantages of modern plastic engineering with regard to design, low-costs of injection moulded parts and improved long term stability are utilised when used in combination with EJOT DELTA PT® screws.
