The TORX® drive system plus

The development of the TORX® drive system was a milestone for manual and automated assemblies. Compared to ordinary cross recess and hexagonal drives, the TORX® system stands for minimal wear and low necessary clamping force resulting in reduced worker fatigue. The EJOT TORX PLUS® recess offers the solution for this challenge.

Benefits of the TORX PLUS® drive system:
  • Up to 4-times increased bit life
  • Improved torsional strength of the driver bits by up to 25%
  • Increased bit strength allows higher torques
  • The TORX PLUS® / AUTOSERT® feature, standardised in EJOT, facilitates automated assemblies due to easy engagement of the bit into the recess
  • The new tamper resistant drive system (IPR) prevents unauthorized disassembly of the screw
  • "Stick Fit" feature in the screw and bit allows a tight positioning of the screw on the driver bit (the screw sticks onto the bit)
