The EJOT® SQUAREboss is particularly suited for components with minimal installation depth. The outstanding fastening characteristics are even more apparent in combination with the DELTA PT® screw. The EJOT® SQUARETboss can be installed into the substructure by manually pushing in the assembly direction. Sheet tolerances of upt to 1 mm can be compensated for. Automated assembly is also possible with this fastening element.
One special version of the EJOT® ISQUAREboss is available with integrated sealing function. It is a post-moulded TPE sealing cap with a small hole to take up the DELTA PT® screw. The assembly is the same as for the standard SQUAREboss - manual pressing into the square hole of the substructure. Afterwards the components is fastened with the DELTA PT® screw which then pushes the TPE seal together through application of the respective clamp load onto the clamping part. This securely and permanently protects the fastening point from both sides against penetrating moisture.
