The name says it all: the EJOT POWERboss® is a fastening element designed for high dynamic as well as static loads. Development focus was the realisation of the largest possible area on the load-bearing parts. The POWERboss® is latched onto the bearing part, which should be between 0,6 and 2 mm thick, with a quarter turn. This process is limited by two end stops. The drive for the rotary movement functions as balancing hole in the boss at the same time.
The subsequent fastening with the EJOT DELTA PT® "pulls" the screw into the tube in the lower part of the "boss" against the bearing part. The joint is then realised through application of the respective clamp load, a reliable and lasting clamping of the components is the achieved.
