EPPsys - New fastening solutions for lightweight constructions- foams, PP-honeycomb webs and laminated elements

EJOT® EPPsys

Fastening of components to foams

EJOT® EPPsys is a product group, designed to realize fastening solutions especially for EPP-foam (Expanded Polypropylen). Besides great performance with lightweight PP-grades (i.e. foams and honeycomb webs), this product group can also be used in combination with alternative materials within the non-metallic light weight industry.


 


 

 

EJOT® EPPsys D

The EPPsys D screw (Direct assembly) is a fastener which can be directly mounted in foams without pilot holes. When using a driver with torque control the EPPsys D fastener can be assembled process capable throughout a wide range of EPP-densities.

 

EJOT® EPPsys DR

The EPPsys DR is a variation for the direct assembly in EPP-foam. It combines the thread of the EJOT EPPsys D and a modified head for a fast and safe attachment to thin walled components. A combination of snaps and springs allows a quick and safe snap fit between a foamed component and the wall. Even tolerances can be balanced in axial and radial directions.
