Finally! Building Authority Approval Z-14.4-532 for the EJOT Solar Fastener

EJOT are the first in the industry to offer a Building Authorities approved screw to fasten elevations for solar and photovoltaic installations. EJOT took on the lead role in the booming market for solar systems regarding proven solutions for this task.

EJOT® The quality connection The EJOT solar fastener is a combination of reliable EJOT screw with special connecting threads. This design guarantees the easy assembly and secure fixing of the solar and photovoltaic installations.
The fastener has proven its usefulness according to the applicable building laws, with extensive tests at accredited institutions. After a certificate of conformity for these tests it was then presented to the DIBt (German Institute for Building Technology) and a building inspection approval for the fastener was awarded. The approval information contains, in addition to assembly advice, compliance indications, intended use etc. also the necessary statistical design loads for the dimensioning.

The following advantages result from the use of approved products:

  • constant quality
  • applicable as a proof of usability for the testing authorities and insurances
  • statistical parameters provide a proof of the bearing capacity without assumptions
  • no verification of the usability of the item necessary for every single case
  • The planners are saved a lot of detailed work
